Fountain Motel

My adult kids and I stayed here for 3 nights and had a great time, everyone was so nice, each morning I wake up, sat outside drinking my morning coffee, and notice gentlemen cleaning the pool, so I knew it was safe for us, house keepers cleaning rooms, very clean place, just a great place to stay, close to beach love it

Our whole family always stay at the Fountain Motel. The rooms are a decent size and they all include cable and WiFi. Outside there is a pool, an ice maker and a sprayer in case you need to wash sand off of you. There's chairs and benches outside if you want to chill with friends/family. They also have a cute little lounge area outside, located upstairs. The motel is only a block away from the boardwalk. Extremely convenient. The owners are very nice and helpful. They have numerous fliers in the office that tell you what different things you can do in the area while on vacation. The owners also give their feedback and let you know what you may want to try out in the area. Our youngest daughter loved the decorations that they have outside -the water fountains to be exact. Our oldest daughter could not get away from the pool. A very cute motel to stay at. Only thing that sucked is that we always have to go back home. :( Thank you! See you soon.

You’re going to wildwood not to spend the day in the room. You got a bed a fridge and bathroom. That’s all anyone needs lol. The people who work there are so nice and down to earth! The decor and plants around the property is what sold me. Most little spots don’t do this. But the owners take pride in there property you can tell. It was a very quiet stay we had no problems. Very close to the boardwalk and places to eat. I definitely will be booking with fountain motel next time I go down. Also the kindness started before I even got there! I booked through booking.com and it kept sending me alerts, but I couldn’t open it up because I don’t have an account with them the owner or someone that works there I’m not sure texted me and sent me an email with the documents which was super super nice.

Here is my honest review and to why I am giving this place a 5/5. I came here with 3 of my other friends for a birthday celebration and a mini vacation. We all shared a room. We weren’t looking for a fancy place to stay (since most of our time were outdoors) but this place had everything we wanted and needed. A kitchen, a bathroom, bedroom, and a small section to dine, a pool, etc. From my experience, a lot of motels like motel 6 don’t have a kitchen, but this place does. And sure the furniture and the floor might be a little outdated..but we’re talking about a family-friendly motel here… this isn’t Hilton guys . And for the price that you’re paying, this place isn’t even bad at all. When we arrived, we could tell the sheets were clean (you can tell by the fresh laundry scent) but the best part about this motel is that they use Mattress Protection Covers. I don't think I’ve seen anyone write a review mentioning that, but it puts me at ease to know that they care enough to protect their clients and their mattress from bed bugs, etc. But because I didn’t know if they had mattress protection or not, I brought my own sheets and a blanket. I had no problem with parking (I parked in the back which is closer to my room), but a block down in Taylor Ave, my friend was lucky enough to find parking there (free parking). I also had no problem with the water pressure in our bathroom. It wasn’t tinkling or sprinkling, It was working fine for us and it remained hot (remember, there’s four of us). For it's location, it's amazing. I am so happy that it was super close to the beach and we didn't have to walk a long way to get there. It's also pretty cool that it’s near Wildwood Convention Center too. Service This is my favorite part. After vacation, my friend dropped my bag while checking out which prompted my airpod to get left behind but I didn't realize it was missing until the next day. Im not going to lie, I was extremely upset about this and I didn’t think it would still be there (like I thought it would be stolen by now) but when I contacted the owner at this property (lovely lady by the way), she told me she would look into it, and when she did, it was there! She dropped it at the UPS for me and I got my airpod the next day. Far and Beyond, thank you so much ! The only thing I would suggest is that you might want to bring ear plugs because I did hear the upstairs tenants stomping around at night but my friend was also snoring like a bear and I didn’t know she snored so bring em just in case!

Walking distance to the beach, clean bathroom and room. Affordable. Lights could be a little brighter. Water pressure and warmth was good, but needs a new shower head. Rooms come with microwave and mini fridge. Really liked the on property cat! And all of the flowers/plants on the property

They had a great day at the motel. I would have liked the rooms to be a little bigger than they were. We were supposed to get a one-bedroom and we ended up getting two beds which we didn't have room for much else. But the stay at the hotel was a wonderful stay and we made the best of it. And we met some good people there

As a middle aged, married woman, I now enjoy peace and quiet. I know it's hard in Wildwood but there's still hope. My husband and I had a comfortable stay. The room was basic but that's all we needed. We had quiet neighbors and it's walking distance to the boardwalk and local eateries. This made our vacation a pleasant one. We'll definitely be back!

There was everything to love and nothing to dislike about this stay we had booked five rooms on this property. Three of the rooms had a pool view. Two of the rooms were behind , this motel is set up like a little village. You'd have to see it to understand, but you'd love it when you'll stay.. Every room is clean. The owner operators are very pleasant to deal with and very accommodating. I've been going to Wildwood for 45 years. This has to be one of the most pleasant motel stays I've ever had. It's right near the Wildwood convention center, but it is a good distance to the beach when you get to the sand. But there's lots of things around within walking distance. And if you don't want to walk the whole length of the boardwalk, you always have the tram car. Updated August 2025 return stay as always everything was great at the fountain motel. We were here during hurricane Erin but still had a amazing time.

The positive experience started when we booked our stay here. Julie was very friendly and helpful. We had a great stay. One block to the beach-boardwalk and many other restaurants and activities. Tony was very friendly and helpful at check in. Our room was ready early. It was clean and had all we needed. I saw a comment about small bathrooms and showers. That is true but the water pressure is awesome. Had a great getaway and would recommend The Fountain to others.

This was definitely a different experience. The rooms are small but cute. We had a regular room, so we had a microwave, mini fridge, the beds were a bit big for the room. If you're just 2 people, it's fine. It was quiet, which was nice. They honor service animals, but do ask what they are trained to do. Julie was very nice. I would definitely stay here again. The decorations are so cool in the breezeway, it was a nice change from where we usually stayed.
